Stretching from Thornton and Brighton in the north, down through Aurora, and touching Littleton, Centennial, Greenwood Village, and Highlands Ranch in the South, the 6th Congressional District is a diverse cross section of Colorado. The district is home to nearly 800,000 people, and includes portions of Arapahoe, Adams, and Douglas Counties.

Spanning urban and suburban neighborhoods and businesses, the 6th is home to manufacturers, retailers, teachers, doctors, nurses, and families from every background and walk of life. Nearly 50,000 veterans call this district home.

It is a dynamic and growing region, but also faces very real challenges: Over 31,000 people living in the 6th District are unemployed. Nearly 9% of all families live below the poverty line. And 131,000 residents have no form of health insurance whatsoever. Many families are working harder than ever and still struggling to make ends meet.

It is a district that deserves a Congressperson willing to stand up for every family, take on the big fights, and finally break through the gridlock that has crippled Washington D.C.
